About us
Pakowan is more than just a pet store. It’s our passion, our hobby, and our daily joy. We, Vitaliy and Mikhail, grew up surrounded by animals and always knew that one day we would create something meaningful for people who see pets as true family members.
We’ve tried working in different fields, but no matter what we did, our conversations always circled back to our four-legged friends. At some point, we realized: enough postponing the dream. That’s how Pakowan was born – a store built with love, humor, and endless appreciation for animals.
Why Pakowan?
The name was inspired by our tiny hero – Paco, a chihuahua with a big personality. He’s funny, stubborn, and endlessly charismatic. Paco has a habit of sneaking into the most unexpected places – once we found him curled up in the laundry basket, another time he fell asleep inside a backpack right before we were heading out. With Paco around, life is never boring – he reminds us daily that pets are pure joy wrapped in fur.
The Story of Oscar
Another important member of our team is Oscar, our Labrador. If Paco is a compact ball of energy, Oscar is the embodiment of calmness and wisdom. Well… except for his one weakness: sticks. Oscar is convinced that every single stick outdoors belongs to him. Once, he proudly dragged home a branch nearly as long as our porch, and ever since, our family rule has been simple: if there’s a stick, Oscar will find it.
Our Mission
We created Pakowan to make the lives of pet owners easier – and a lot more fun. Every product we sell is something we’d happily give to Paco and Oscar: from stylish accessories to items that make playtime and care simple and joyful.
For us, this store isn’t just business. It’s a way to share the happiness our pets bring us every single day.
